Amiko in your surroundings

Every place needs its own perspective.

Six ideas for your camera system, from a single entrance to larger grounds. These are application examples with illustrative images, not completed client projects.

Application example · Home & front door

Peace of mind at home.

Keep your entrance, driveway and back door in view. Start with the places you want to monitor.

A wide viewing angle helps at an entrance. Check beforehand that people appear clearly enough to be recognised, and prevent outdoor lights from shining directly into the lens.

Application example · Business & warehouse

Keep an eye on your business.

Bring access points, loading areas and key passageways together in one camera system.

Count your cameras first and allow room for expansion. The number of recording channels may differ from the number of built-in PoE ports.

Application example · Shops & hospitality

A view of the shop floor.

Monitor the entrance and walkways with cameras suited to the lighting and space.

For a glazed shopfront, consider backlighting and WDR. Also check how the camera performs in the evening, and aim it at the area you want to monitor.

Application example · Driveway & car park

See what's happening around your driveway.

Monitor vehicles, barriers and access points to your premises.

An adjustable lens or optical zoom can be useful at greater distances. Night vision range is a manufacturer's specification; the conditions, light reflections and mounting determine the result. An overview camera does not guarantee readable number plates.

Application example · Holiday home & second home

Stay close, even from afar.

Use a compatible system and Bitvision to check what is happening when you are elsewhere.

Remote viewing requires a working internet connection at the location. Test live viewing and recording before you leave, and keep your device password secure.

Application example · Grounds & yard

Greater reach across your grounds.

Combine fixed cameras at access points with a suitable overview of larger areas.

PTZ models can change their viewing direction, but only film the direction they are currently facing. Use fixed cameras for places that need to remain in view at all times.
